Scott is one of the staff members at CFLD to help keep the athletes healthy and injury free. He finished his massage therapy training in 2000, Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) training in 2004, and completed a 4 year Masters degree program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2007 which included an internship at UCSD’s student athlete center. He also completed the International training program at ChengDu University in China where he treated patients at the University hospital and did an apprenticeship in Taipei Taiwan.
Services:
Scott does acupuncture, dry needling, Injection therapy (natural substances like homeopathics, B12, vitamins and minerals, no cortisone shots!), Kinesio tape / Rock Tape, stretching, and manual therapy (massage). Treatments are about 15 minutes long. For issue needing more time or attention, or if you prefer a private treatment area, Scott has an office at a family practice in South Cherry Creek.
Cost:
The cost of a treatment is the same as a drop in class. For athletes with 2 or 3 classes a week, this can count as one of your lasses, or you can purchase an additional class. For athletes with unlimited classes it is included inn your membership
So… Hit Scott up with questions about injuries, movement or all tings CrossFit Endurance. You can find him running around the gym with a weird watch that beeps a lot. Or at his treatment table in the back of the gym.
