DENVER BARBELL CLUB

Olympic Weightlifting is a function of four major areas: Strength, Speed, Technique, and Mobility. It is our job to hone your body in each of these areas. Generally, as one area improves, we tend to lose something in the others. To combat this, our programming encompasses movements from each category on a daily basis. As a result, our athletes become all around better weightlifters.

We would love to have you join us at Denver Barbell Club. We welcome people of all fitness levels because we believe everyone can benefit from strength training.

CORPORATE FITNESS

At CrossFit LoDo, we have had partnerships with several businesses and their corporate wellness programs in an effort to bring fitness and fun to your workplace. Both on site classes and at work classes are available, depending on the needs of your company and how involved you would like to get with CrossFit LoDo.

If you have 5 people from your work, you get 25%-30% off of your memberships with us, and we have rates and packages for private on site or at work classes depending on what you are interested in. Learn how working out, building camaraderie, and breaking up your work day with a brief workout can increase productivity, health, and well being in the work place by setting up a time to chat with us! PERSONAL TRAINING

Some people thrive more in an 1 on 1 atmosphere. Others want to work specifically on their technique with a movement or lift. No matter your preference, surely we have a coach that specializes in what you seek. Our coaches are certified in everything from KettleBells, to Barbells, to Olympic Weightlifting, to Gymnastics, to Endurance based programming and movements. DROP-INS WELCOME

We are here to help every athlete achieve their goals! Drop-in to take part in our friendly and helpful community.

Our drop-ins cost $20/class or $37.50 with a LoDo t-shirt customized and delivered directly to you!  Please contact us with any special requests and take a moment to look over our schedule.

SCHEDULE
I am inflexible, stiff and tall.  These attributes do not translate well into Olympic lifting.  The coaches at LoDo have worked with me over the years to improve my flexibility, strength, form and movement.  From the one on one talks before/after the workout to the small adjustments they will make during a class, the amount of knowledge shared has been immeasurable.  Above all else, they want you moving and lifting safely.

What first drew me to CrossFit was the raw, physical nature of the workouts.  I guess it reminded me of Rocky IV in Russia.  What has kept me coming back to LoDo for over 4 years is the quality of the coaching, the atmosphere, and the technicality of the lifts.

You can find articles on the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to CrossFit.  As someone who travels for work, I have been able to visit a lot of gyms throughout the US.  This has grown my appreciation for LoDo more than anything else. The time the coaches spend not only on you but on themselves to become better educators is by far the single biggest factor when it comes to a great gym.  You will find that at LoDo.
